What do you think, my youngster had a worm count of 700 and has been dosed with Panacur Equine Guard and Equimax. I have been seeing huge orange bot larvae in his droppings now for about 4 days since the Equimax tabs (they are all dead) .
Is this too be expected? and is it normal? It is utterly revolting but at least they are coming away. Just wondering if he should have stopped shedding them yet or does he need more worming?
Last time I saw worms like this they were white like rubber glove fingers, but this was in rescue ponies from very poor circumstances and I think they may have been tapeworms. All my recent horses have come from good homes so never seen worms like this in years.
