Hoenstly- there's a huge variation in how a 14.2 will go and move. My sister's pony is 14.2, but is very much a small horse (registered as 14.1, but that is such a lie!) with a longer back and very big stride.

Alice is 5'6 for comparison purposes...

i am glad yours is the same, i thought i was going mad..
i rode a friends 14.1/2 and she felt tiny compared to wilma, and really short
wilma feels massive

Your 5ft 7!!!!, just shows the variances. I am the same height as you, but I look ridiculous on ponies, like full out pony squishing can see other foot when you take a side on pic!!! I look a little small on my 17.1hh, but not hugely.

im quite long in the body

and you may ride longer than me, cos i ride quite short, the firsst pic was my longest stirrup length

if i really wanted i probably could get my feet to be seen the other side :L

but i dont look really huge on the 13.2 either

and i dont look small on a 16.2 either :L:L

Then Pickle next to her with prittstick on here on him (and she isn't hugely different in height to me) Sizes can be so deceptive, just by how a horse holds themselves

i didnt want them to tell me exactly
i just wanted to have a look at some other 14.2s as a rough guide, and now i know that im not the only one that has a 14.2 (roughly) that rides bigger
