Twemlows just confirmed that my girls in foal (to Jumbo)

Other mare due scanning on monday(mill law) and number 3 should be in season at the end of the week so my boy will have his first lady.

. the stud said mares have not been getting in foal as well as last year,Anyone else had trouble either AI or natural?

I don't know about this year but i knew a lot of mares not getting in-foal last year, including one of mine, my cousins mare and one of my friends mares. Both natural and AI.

One of my mares was AI'd this year for the first time and she took on the first go. The stud she was at has a lot of mares in all the time and they said they hadn't noticed anything different from any other year. Some mares take, some don't.

We dont seem to have had any major problems but then we didnt last year either.
Only thing this year is that most people have started later.

Mine is due for a scan tomorrow to see if she is foal to Mill Law....am so nervous!!
