So happy. Skye did her first flyball tournament on Saturday at Just Dogs Live (Peterborough). She was absolutely brilliant. She is showing no signs of any effect fom losing her eye. I am so happy, you can't believe. I was nearly in tears. And to put the icing on the cake her team came 1st.

Did any of you go to this show. There was agility, showing, gun dog scurries and loads more. A really lovely show.

Am I heartless? I found a bandana at a stall at the show. It has a skull and crossbones on so I bought it for her. It has her name on too.
I am just so happy that she is fully recovered and her quality of life is not impaired in any way. In fact it seems better, she does seem happier so it makes me wonder just how much discomfort the eye was giving her. It's a question I'll never have the answer too I suppose.

:D Great to hear she's back on form, and what's more, enjoying life again. That's the important bit - you did the best thing for her. Now she's back to her old self, and having fun with it. :D

The bandana? Coooooool, man!

Yey well done Skye!!:D

Gald she is back on form and clearly not bothered by her recent surgery!!:D

really pleased to hear about success and happiness of the 1 eyed dog gang.

Mine is fine and copes too. Can't really tell the difference any more.

Well done at the show.

yaaaay, so pleased that she is back enjoying herself!! And well done to the team! We went down to supadogs and the KC festival one year, but given we are in Aberdeenshire, we found it rather a long way. Espec since we ended up at the emergency vet with a hop-along on 3 legs who had done a cruciate in:rolleyes:

You think that's heartless? I would have at least one picture like this already...:D

Meant to post on this yesterday but the forum fell over before I could (and then I forgot :o) ANYWAY.... Well done Skye! Really pleased she's adjusting so well - and yes, we do need pics of the bandana! :D
