One hind legs swollen

My horse Lilly has one swollen left hind. It goes down after being turned out, but is swollen again after stabling overnight haha it looks like a sausage. I put magnetic stable boots on to help, however last night I noticed there was some leakage on the inside of the magnetic boot and gammy stuff on her leg however I cant see a break in the skin. Vet is out in the morning, to see it, has anybody got any ideas on what might be wrong? I am abit annoyed as I just paid £120 for the magnetic boots a week ago and they are about as usefull as my horse... not very.

Sounds like an infection, possibly from a tiny puncture wound. Good idea to get the vet.

Agree it could be a puncture wound or she's just knocked herself in field?

Ditto Pearlsasinger... My mums horse had the same, but on both hinds, and not as severe as yours.
Some tiny scratches were found, and he was put on antibiotics which has cleared it up.
Could also be lymphagitis, although I think the swelling remains and is painful.
