last one...for a while..

looking at the selection, seems to vary in thickness, whats the benefits in thicker mats?

standard seems 17/18 but ive seen 45mm as well

is it the thicker the better? theres going to be around 950kg on each set

The thicker the better, as they do wear down in time, but it does take 3-4 years for the wear to start to show so the standard thickness should be fine. Beware of some that are very thin though as they are not really suitable for horses unless you have minis.

I went for Stablelite mats which are very thick, soft and heavy as they were bought for a boxing walk TB and for an old clydesdale. They are very comfortable and warm, provide a lot of support and have 8 years later and on the second clydie still show no signs of wear and tear.

i tried looking for them from a previous post of yours id seen, but i cant find the website
