Was selected for pony club team dressage this Sunday and it's her first. The only time she has done dressage away from home before was combined training a few months ago so to be selected for this was a huge achievement for her.

This pony has been with her for 5 months and he is very forward going but a little star. I am so so proud of her.

Wish I could share the professional pictures but obviously can't, so here's this one taken by her mum and I asked her if I could post it up here as I don't think it's right to post pics of other peoples children without permission. She may join the forum soon anyway...she is also extremely proud and wants her lovely daughter and pony to be shown off...

a fantastic achievement! ive been 5 years running and i still have to prepare myself for it as its such a busy event!!!
normally 8 arenas running, with levels ranging from roughly prelim to elementary and 20 odd teams per level...4 levels..... you can imagen just how hectic it can be!! plus its normally held in a massive field! what a confident and brave little girl and such a superstar pony :)

Thanks guys...getting Olivia to pay attention in a lesson for more than 2 seconds at a time is a challenge...but she always listens and takes it in. I have never met a child so eager to improve and learn :)

I can't wait to start with her little sister. She is only 5 and her pony is too old to do anything other than hack but my goodness, if ever a child was born to be on a horse it is her. Although...given that she will ONLY ride if she has a triple thick layer of sparkly pink lipgloss on, I think I will have my work cut out :wink3:

HA HA HA it very rewarding to see those we teach reach goals and achieve

Thanks guys :smile3:

Hereshoping...I don't think I ever come to where you are :(

Maybe you should have a horsey holiday and bring your ned to Wiltshire :)
