Just got home to notice I hadnt closed the stair gate properly and a little spangle puppy face was peering at me from the top stair!! Gingerly ventured up to check out the chaos and discovered...nothing. Older 2 spangles were both fast asleep downstairs on the sofa and little Chloe must have been dozing on my bed, there was a very warm spot where I think she had just jumped off but no carnage, normally if she manages to sneak up unnoticed she kills all the pillows and chews the wicker laundry basket. Not only that but the study door was open and my prized dressage saddle lives in there. needless to say big sigh of relief and huge hugs to puppy for being so well behaved. Now, why cant she do it when Im home??

I'll swap her for Rosie please :D

Rosie has chewed all sorts of things and actually, I am just about to tot it all up and give my son the bill ;)

I think when you are at home they do it to get attention,no you at home no need for attention,or maybe finally her teeth have bedded in an doesent get the urge to chew,i dont know how old your pup is but i would recommend a crate for the puppy, diffrent people have diffrent views on crates but i think they are great,an as long as not used for punishment are idea.put a kong in there with some pate or something, that will keep puppy busy, hope everything stays unmolested in the future,oh and shut those doors upstairs!!!! :P
