Are welsh cobs more bolshy than other youngsters???
I have a 4 year old and everytime we get one problem sorted he comes up with something new.
To be fair with the weather over the summer he has not had alot of riding, but he is so inconsistant on the ground. Ridden he is perfect.
I don't know if he has a lack of spacial awareness.
I have had youngsters for years but never a welsh cob so was just wondering if they threw more at you than other horses.
Anybody have any thoughts.

I thought 1 step forwards and 2 steps back was just what all horses like to stick by? Haha.

My 2yo Welsh Cob would love to be bolshy. I try my hardest to stop her, but sometimes I can't avoid her running the farrier over along with all his kit. She's all front legs too, loves to wave them about yet an angel with her back legs.

I think all breeds will test the boundaries with how easy it is to run us over and charge around, but yes, personal experience is welsh cobs are a little bit of added bolshyness to your usual
