One Week and Four Days

I'm guessing that this is how long it is til you can ride? :) If it is, good luck, take it easy and have fun! :D

me too:D I remember counting the days like this, its amazing I thought it was horrid at the time yet now it seems so long ago and I only started riding again beginning of November

Oh I've just started Equilates (got a DVD for Christmas) to help with my gammy knee/hip/back - do you find its helping?! The first few sessions made me a little sore but I think its helping now...

Good luck getting back on... its very exciting and I must say you've been an inspiration with how you've coped with it all!!!

Yup, got to take it steady :D. I was lucky enough to get to Lynsey Wilcox-Reid for a session :D. I bought one of her books and that's been great, combined with the session with her and the regular physio sessions :D. She's a lovely lass and whilst kind, does make sure that one gets all one can out of a session ;) :D

And ta m'duck :D. You'd probably not say that if you'd been living with me :D. The family have been increadibly amazing, doing everything from putting my socks on for me to bringing hot water bottles and getting up at five a.m. when I did to go to work :D

I'm having January off :D. Sort of, but the house is straighter and the other side of business is getting some much needed attention :D. The months of daily five a.m. starts and getting home at eight p.m., with the one hundred and sixty mile drive inbetween, took its toll :rolleyes:. Although the client was very good, not stressing about me working from home for a couple of months when I first battered myself :D

Wow - my days are that long but I don't have the drive! Supportive family are a must and I am sure they didn't mind! :-)

Glad to hear you're giving yourself a break though...

Sorry to Hi Jack your post Mrs M .....

Riverboy, can you give me the details of the DVD, title etc. I'm quite interested in the idea of improving my core stability, old back injury ... too boring to go into details.

Oh Mrs M.... so very pleased that things are improving... very interested in the Equipilates - perhaps we should have an on-line EP class - that would be fun! Mrs M you can be 'Teacher'.
Where did you get the DVD from?

No DVD with me - Lindsay Wilcox-Reed lives not too far away from me and I had a session with her, and bought her book, which is grand :D. Google her (I'd do a link, but I'm on the iPad and it won't copy and paste it :().

Ta muchly :D. I promise to take it steady :D
