One week on..

Here's the little chap , one week on. Ive named him Jasper. He was sound the day after he went lame. I think he over did it on his new legs and just needed a rest.

I had a very close shave tonight, i took my eye off the mare for a few seconds and i felt the wind of a bucking kick, very close to my head

Yikes! So glad it was the wind! Flippin' 'eck lass, if a horse feels half of what I feel re. my kiddettes, then be thankful for the wind

Oh so gorgeous, look at those eyes! Jasper is a great name! So glad he is better now! Mum is obviously being a protective mother, bless her!

awww such a lovely little lad!! my kitten is called Jasper, be prepared for him to be a little devil, anything called Jasper in my experience is extremely cute and cuddly but with a hint of naughtiness!!

Thank you, yeh i agree. I would kill for my children. Im just a bit hurt emotionally (not physically thank goodness!) that she did it, i was'nt a threat to her or Jasper. I kind of hoped she trusted me a bit more. She has pulled faces before and warned me off, but not actually gone to get me!
 
Thank you, yep i think i will. I will do the essentilals pick poo and feed. And leave them alone for a bit. I so want to bear hug jasper though!!! I will just have to be paitent
