This has been popping up on my SM feeds lately. Anna Marciniak - Onehorselife offers a number of relaxation based courses which appear to have good results. The courses are quite expensive, but her horses do look lovely and relaxed. Has anyone taken one of the courses or have any experience of the methods used?

I have mixed feelings, some of the work is lovely to look at, some of their guidance makes sense, but some of it is shown significantly behind the vertical, LDR, out of balance etc. I'm shocked to read the reviews but it's not a programme I'd recommend.

There are SO many options out there for connection type work, or correct groundwork which helps with connection and relaxation...I bang on about it all the time but have you had a look at the free FB group Slow Walk Work, it includes ground and ridden work and focuses on balance, but absolutely helps massively with connection and relaxation. She's a lovely lady too, and the group is supportive and educational. The work is in the featured posts section.

I could suggest other paid programmes beyond this, no one course is perfect, they all have the odd downside, but there are many that are really good and will progress your horsemanship and your horse's wellbeing.

Answers my question of whether the bit relaxation techniques are basically just Baucher flexions.

I like to take bits and bobs from a variety of places but OHL method is very strictly paywalled so hard to get a feel for it.
