For a few days now my TB has has the tiniest amount of swelling on the back (pointy bit) of his hock. I mean if you look at it you wouldnt notice, but feel and its there, just sort of squishy, bit like a small amount of fluid in a bag. There's no heat, no lameness, he lets me poke it without it bothering him and he's still riding fine (I did give him a couple of days off to see if it helped but didnt make a difference), so I'm assuming he's done his usual TB trick and knocked him self. I've been putting arnica gel on it twice a day and while its not getting any worse, its not going either. Is it anything to worry about (you'll have to excuse me as I'm slightly paranoid about legs after loosing my dream horse)? Thanks in advance!
