OOOh pups being born!

I want sound so I can hear puppy murmurs! Thanks for the link. Not sure what a black sable is, but the americans do tend to invent new colours.:p
Is that a dead pup on the blanket in the top left of the picture ?:(

Come back to me in six months when I can do something with them :D :p
Bit old fashioned of me, but I'd be giving her a wee bit more space.
Lovely bitch, looks like she will be a good mummy :)

MM, come over to the dark side, you'll here a lot about black sables in working circles :D just a very, very dark sables. A lot of the working people would not regard B as being a 'proper' sable :p

I am shouting at the screen for her to stop mithering the bitch and puppy, and check the one on the blanket.
Learnt something new there, they were always just dark sables to me, so would a lot of the working "dark" sables be known as black sables then?

Aha, there are more out there, must have moved them until she finished whelping. Don't think the bitch is too happy with that arrangement, is whelping in a paddling pool a new idea too then CC. :p

No I've never taken pups away either, most bitches are pretty careful. Think she is covering them to keep them warm.
Can see the logic in a bowl type box, although I still prefer a rail to protect pups. Have memories of making the sides of the box higher and higher to stop the little b's escaping, I used to have a bench that the bitch could pop up onto for a bit of peace.
And another one, bit more of a tiddler. Gawd wish I'd never started watching this, I really need to get on.

poor mum, doesn't get much chance to sort this out herself does she, perhaps thee is a reason, looks like pups are a cross with collie or somesuch, very tolerant bitch though!

I thought they had white markings at first but as you say think they are just colours. Maybe the bitch has a history of problems, not dealing with pups or something, the owner is certainly far more hand on than I would ever be.
