Here is Acorn - he's a 13.2hh Cobx. I've bought him as a first pony for my daughter! He is as quiet as they come really.
I bought him from a sales - Llanybydder, West Wales. Only thing is I bought him as a 3 yr old, but read his passport and he's not 3 until 10th July!!!! Bit of a shock and I have to admit I wouldn't have bought him if I'd known, but he's here now. A lot of people will probably think I'm completely mad for buying a first pony from a sales but my first pony came from there and many friends have over the years. My daughter got on him and rode him around the car park and he was unflappable.
Plan is to take it very very slowly with him and I'll probably give him light work or just walk and trot over summer then pretty much winter him off. I'll find someone to being him into work again then. He's bum high so he'll probably still grow to about 14hh and I'm hoping he'll chunk up a bit to. He's currently mooching around the lawn eating that off for us then we'll head him up to the field to meet the other tomorrow!

.. i go to llanybydder every month and we regularly take horses there. its a great sales which produces some lovely horses and ponies. ALL of my riding horses/projects have come from there and they have been stars.
