Vet came to take a blood sample from Beth yesterday - (saga of the lost passport and the IHB claiming that her pink nose marking was recorded as a slightly different shape on the original record, so she now has to be DNA checked with Weatherby's!) - and thought that she is probably only a couple of weeks off foaling now. She is enormous and getting very fed up with the foal kicking for England, and I noticed that the muscles around her tail are beginning to soften; she's also just beginning to bag up. I'm VERY excited and very scared!!!! I have all Becki's pictures of Hannah as a guide to "what happens next". But she has to wait until next week when I'm off work and getting all my foaling supplies in!!
