It appears I used his hair trimmers to clip Stigs belly. It's now 10:36 and I need to get the hoover out but I have a comfy cool Stig :).

Am trying to resist the urge to just take it all off, but I can't bring myself to do his neck and tail and he'd look royally stupid if I left just them on.

So...who else has had the trimmers out for their dogs. I will try and get a photo tomorrow, but he's too happy sleeping now to disturb him.

Anyone else doing it? :)

Just thought I'd reply quickly, just to say be careful trimming all the tail. We did this one year with one of our spaniels and due to excessive wagging he nicked it... and then got blood spots EVERYWHERE. It was on the kitchen ceiling! After that we used to leave a tuft on the end :)

Luckily I have a whippet so not an issue anymore :D

I got up early to finish him off this morning...left the tail just trimmed the top as I wouldn't forgive myself if it didn't grow back the same. It's like having my puppy Stig back again, he is so much happier, when you need to do anything to Stig, he just sits, stands or lies down and stays wherever you put him until you finish, he is a total dude.
