went to reading sales yesterday and as usual wanted everything but there were these 2 little sec a colts that were going mad very frisky bless them and VERY loud!! They went in the auction and buggered off with the old bloke who was trying to trot them up - quite funny. Anyway noone wanted them!!! :( So my friend and I went to speak to the owner she said she would deliver them for us so we paid her a token amount really and she delivered them to my friends land for us :) They are so adorable mine is just a yearling and hers is 2 and a lot braver and a bit more randy to say the least!! Apparently the breeder had lost grazing so these poor colts had spent the entire winter cooped up in stables and only turned out occasionally in a sand school!!!! So they were extremely happy to be out galloping around and throwing themselves on the floor to roll non stop!! Will let them settle and get a bit more used to being handled and a bit less nervous and then try and find them new homes :) will attempt to put pics on....... this may not work!!

Oh big oopps! But OMG they are gorgeous, what a fab impulse buy. So is your one the lighter one then? Have you come up with names yet? :D

yeah mines the lighter one - he's kind of pinkish :) they already have names caehen conrad (mine - haha!) and caehen brinley. Both are registered and its nice to see their bloodlines going back as i know nothing about the breeding of my other horse :) but then again i know nothing about welshies breeding so their bloodlines mean absolutely nothing to me!!

I was there and nearly bid on them but thought how on earth would I manage with 2 frisky colts, it seems they aren't so bad after all. Good luck with them.

we were at reading and saw them. as they were brought in the bigger one jumped on the woman and did her shoulder in.
they were loud whenever anything went passed they squealled like a 16hh stallion.
prices there were really low. a lovely bay riding horse about 15hh that was good to hunt etc went for 400 with tack!!!
and there was quite a few in to be sold.
times are bad when nice horses go that cheap...
