Due to the ongoing snow situation and the fact I am at home for a fortnight - yippee!!!!

- I have lit the fire and plan to keep it going pretty much for the fortnight.

Anyway Max has discovered the delights of an open fire and has now assumed the position in front of it!!

Does this mean I am going to spend the next fortnight tripping over a lab lightly toasting himself on both sides??

Absolutely!! I lit the fire yeaterday and Matty didn't move away from it til I dragged her off to bed. She is back there now and was extremely put out to find it unli when she got up this morning!!

I think Max has decided putting his head almost in the fire is probably going a bit far

What gets me is when they get too hot and look at you as if to say,will you turn this thing down. Heavens forbid though that they should actually get up and move
