Just take it straight to your nearest reliable lorry garage and get it checked over immediately for any faults/repairs etc

ha! yes, i think i agree it's a bit nuts... but i'm also famous for the amount of bargains i get on ebay...

my hubby used to be a mechanic, so he'll know whether it's safe. it literally passed it's MOT yesterday so that's a good sign (?!?). i might get someone that knows about horseboxes to come and check the floor etc (kerilli... i know you want to...).

sea_view... it's the baby's fault... i spend so much of my life breastfeeding that i have no choice but to multitask and ebay at the same time. i can't do anything that requires typing as i only have one hand free... so can merely browse the bargains of ebay...

i would put a link to the box up... but i'm scared that everyone will see some obvious faults, and be mean to me... not that HHOers are scary... not at all... you're all lovely... no, really you are...

*tiptoes away*whistling*

I looked at one that had passed its MOT the day before and the RAC mechanic refused to test drive it even on the yard he said it was so dangerous. Question is would you sell it on for the same price if OH tells you its a dangerous rust bucket?

nooooo.... don't say that! *puts fingers in ears*

anyhoo, if it's a rust bucket, i guess i don't have to get it... and i'd just lose the deposit... or, we could get it as a project for my hubby to do up... yeah, that's a good idea... it will be a gift to him... he's always complaining that he wants a kit car... how different is a rusty van?

'Luck' and 'Good' - rearrange into a well known phrase or saying

.

Barking.

Absolutely barking.

. Definately get a mechanic to look at it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I lost thousands when mine died a nasty death. It had been plated the month before I bought it - I didn't see the test sheet.
