We went to a horse and tack auction to sell a few saddles and ended up coming home with a horse.
I have two rules.
1. Don't buy an adult horse from an auchion
2. Don't buy out of sympathy
I broke both and ended up buying a fully registered shire mare! The poor thing is in a terrible state and under weight, but she is still so trusting and compliant.
I dont see many pure breds around, just shire crosses. So my question is........ Would it make a good riding horse??
