Oops, I did it again!

So I accidentally brought another horse!
Archie is a 5yo Standardbred, had 2 starts and was so slow that they didn't think he would finish at all?

I have never had a Stb before, or had much to do with them really, but he is super quiet, nothing seems to phase him and seems to love being around people.

One issue. He does put his ears back a lot though, not pinned at all just back. He doesn't 'do' anything at all, no kick at bite, his body language does not even indicate that he might try anything. Not sure what to think of it really ?

He certainly is! If he's half as nice a personality, you've got a good'un.

He looks nice hopefully he just has very expressive ears. Hope all goes well with him. Was he raced under saddle or harness?

Thanks ? he has a lovely personality, he's like a big puppy.
Hobo, he was raced in harness. So far he only knows stop, start and turn, under saddle but he is so quiet that I don't really care ?

He looks like a nice stamp of a horse. The SB breeder near us is crossing them with coloured cobs to get slightly stockier horses with interesting coat patterns

Like him allot. Don't worry about the ear thing, my lad has done it all his life never comes to it. As for going in stable with dinner, the head goes down in a snaky position, ears pinned back again his head but he never does anything. It is just him, he is a grumpy git.
