Henry (well actually I) won a prize - my letter was picked as letter of the month in Your Dog mag, and a box of dog toys arrived yesterday. Here is Henry with his winnings!

Unfortunately I must report that the lion (which as a very bouncy ball inside it) has just bounced into the coal bucket, and is therefore now a leopard

Would be nice to keep something in clean and tidy condition for more than five minutes...

It was about what dog walkers should do to stay safe if they meet horses, either being ridden or loose in fields. The issue has a focus on good manners out walking, so I guess it fitted in nicely with the general theme

I did a thread in NL about it yesterday as I wrote the letter in response to the many dog bashing threads that were in there a while ago, the text of the letter is on there

Of course, the real oops moment was when Henry followed the lion into the coal bucket Good job he's already mostly black

Sorry but I think he is possibly just a little disapointed that there was no food in his prize, he does look unimpressed!

He would have probably preferred food - he'll just have to start conducting his own correspondence in future
