It's been a week since I lost my lovely Section D. But this little lovely snuck into my head and heart, and I now seem to be the owner of a 2 year old Arab cross Appaloosa Filly... Arriving next weekend

Not usually my type, but something about that face kept drawing me back. She's very sweet. Maybe I should do a little blog thread for our journey together, it's been a while since I had a Baba, and help and advice would be gratefully received!

All the best horses are Appy crosses, not that I'm biased of course ? she is very, very like mine was at that age, and if she's half a nice as he is she'll be a smashing little horse.

That is wonderful! My arab/appaloosa is the most brilliant and beautiful horse that has been a joy and a privelage to live with. It is a wonderful mix and I wish you much joy after such a sad time.

Lovely! It will be interesting to see if she stays orange - our AppyX was so orange when we got him he was nicknamed Wotsit. The next year it had nearly all disappeared! (that’s him on the left)
