Bit tricky having a CB when the horses normally have to be either black or grey !!!
My second husband was in the Blues and Royals for a while - armoured. I always said that if he's ever gone into the mounted section I was going to feed the horses oats for a few weeks before Trooping the Colour just to liven things up a bit (they're FAR too well-behaved . . . .

i could probably find out for you as daughters instructor is in the medical core and her fella is kings troop. one of my horses is ex kings troop but he was already out when i bought him. im not sure they are sold on after service but some get sold on if they are found to not be suitable for the job as in our boys case.
