Just noticed they have one of these at Scone (wish I'd paid attention & was doing it!)

Never heard of open intro before is it a new thing?

What does it consist of? i.e, is it more challenging than an Intro or just a way of keeping experienced competitors away from Intro competitors?

It was mainly brought it because of riders not horses.......

because riders ridden at A cant ride in intro unless HC..... so then young horse doesnt have that on its record ( could have been placed etc... ) if selling etc......

No its the same as the OPN and ON, OI rule.

Exactly the same, just open to higher graded horses or riders who have completed Advanced.

Basically means that inexperienced jockeys can purchase eventing schoolmasters and still compete competitively!

Ahh right, wouldn't apply to me anyway. Thanks guys

hun you can go in it if you want- i have entered OPN as i found there were less entries and competition although you will get some horses that have a good past record. Elidah Grieve rides/rode Just morse in OPN as he comopeted up to 3* i think
