It was the bloodhounds opening meet last Saturday, and even though the weather was appalling, my OH was up for it so off we went. I didn't get too carried away with the turnout though (given the weather), you can see the colour of her tail, but didn't see the sense in washing it if it was going to be muddy again couple of hours later.

It was the sort of meet it was impossible to get near any of the jumping action (also had to help to find some lost first season pups which didn't help), so not many pics apart from at the meet..

I liked this one though.

Everyone had a good day (though slightly wet), out about 3 hours, and came back v muddy.

Rest of the day didn't go so well though, as I was putting S's rug on, she kicked me (owned her 7 years, and never a hint of a kick before). Ended up in local hospital overnight, as thigh still bleeding, and still have a 1cm hole in leg and can't ride!!! Very painful and I wouldn't recommend it.

He's going out again tomorrow touch wood, but not sure if I'll get any pics, as can't walk far enough to get in position.

Hope the pics are working, they aren't in preview mode, but copy into the address bar OK?

I so miss my 14.2 hunter (he died in the spring from colic), he was so safe and a fantastic hunter. Hope you go OK on your new horsie.

I didn't realise that LindaW, they are in PG already which is why I couldn't understand why they wouldn't work in here.
Thanks

I went to opening meet on thursday. My horse is 15 but hadn't been hunting since he was 5. He was good though, but it took him a few hours to calm down afterwards!
