I have been given the chance (oh lucky me ! :P ) to bring a cob back into work but he is massive :( My weightape doesn't fit round him - more of a tb girl myself but I am estimating at least 575 if not 600kg :O My plan was to do four weeks walking building up time before introducing some trot as I think this will be what gets the flubber shifting but he has been out at grass for over 6 months doing nothing so has no really base fitness - does this sound ok ? I think he will be a nice lad as even with a neck the size of god knows what he is trying to bend and soften. Will try and get some photos to track fat boys progress :)

That sounds like a good plan to me, I am bringing my County Cob up today to start for hunting him he's been out for 12 weeks now so I will be doing 3 weeks walking then a little trotting and finally a canter before we start autumn hunting then the hunting will keep him fit as we do two days a week.
