I have been having a few problems with my pony for the past few week he just hasn't been *right* not sure if its abit of lami starting or if hes foot sore or pulled something in the field or... just starting to feel his age abit now hes 14.

I was wondering if you could give me opinions on his feet please? He is 14.1hh welsh x and is normally barefoot through the winter (when he is not doing as much) and sometimes has front shoes on during the summer with the hard ground.

Thanks!

You need to be side and ground level and also a directly above solar view to get a photo anyone can look at reliably:)

Does he always stand with his fronts so far apart? Also, he has a ring around his hoof about half way down which could indicate he has had laminitis in the past.

He has been doing this recently and didnt used to do it in the past not sure why...

Oh really.. that could explain the foot soreness/dodgyness I guess?? I noticed there seems to be what looks like alot of blood stains in his back white foot.. could that be due to laminitis?

they look like bruises to me from that photo, on his back white hoof. My mare used to bruise a little when she was barefoot all over. She had fronts put on and the bruising stopped

I agree, the ring does look like he could have had lami in the past

Need better pics to make a proper opinion.

You can see them in the white hooves - may well be in all of them. Not necessarily lami - around the quarters it is often more a mechanical strain on the laminae from a long wall.
