Opinions on a horse please

Looks a nice type but as you say very tense and look but always forward. Couldn't spot the lameness to begin with but at about 1min 38 he seems to go abit unlevel, his ears also go from being pointed forward to twitching at that point. Could be the video though, but I do like.

Thanks for the feedback, his not actually up for that much only £1850 which rang a few bells as most of hers are £3500+
I wouldn't not have him vetted have made that mistake before and payed the price for it.
I Have never heard of them before?

Not struck at all, price is not particularly relevant if you have to spend six months schooling him.
Thought he's got very choppy action, actually, I don't like him at all!

I think he's a nice type who could have been a lot nicer if he had had some correct basics put in at the beginning .
If you will enjoy the project and you liked riding him and the vet was happy then go for it but you need to go into with your eyes wide open.
I think he'll may be pretty determined that's how he wants to go.
What do you want him for?
I don't know anything about the seller

Regardless of who the seller is, you got your own vet out right? and not one they mentioned?

He does looks tense and looks like he will definitely be a project, and most likely require a very experienced rider to keep him on the straight and narrow. Which may be what you are after so that is fine :)

There are a lot of very good horses out there for sale at the moment, even at that price.

There was huge controversy over the seller/dealer - who used a different name back then - posted a clip on youtube about backing/riding a bronking horse and a lot of whipping was used if I remember correctly.. There was a lot of talk about it on here at the time..

About the horse, I'm not taken. His way of going would need a lot of work to get him working correctly and even then he looks set in his ways. Agree with the posters who mentioned he doesn't look 100% sound. But go and see him, ride him assess him for yourself, and get a independent vet for the vetting if you do continue.

Hmm thanks all but am not going to consider him they have advertised him as been there done it type and can clearly see his not and needs a lot of work which is why I sold my last mare as she needed work but I just didn't have the time for her!
It wasn't me that had him vetted, I was just stating that he was vetted but I wouldn't take their word for it anyway.

Have you tried him he'll be a massive amount of work to retrain .
I think he could have moved well if he had been well started .
He may well have been there and done everything but it's a question of how he's been there and done it.

I would want to see him in walk. he looks tense, she looks tense and stiff in her arms, he does look a little lame and flat & uncomfortable and not at all listening to the rider.

All the work appeared to be on the right rein except for one brief half circle left for which she did not change her diagonal. Would put money on a pelvic issue or similar which rider is trying to disguise. Feel sorry for horse but looks like a long term project to me.

Something looks dodgy with right hind on the road, front leg action looks odd - something in the boots to even out hinds? Head carriage is awful would question longevity of horse back working like that.

Why waste money supporting that animal? And I don't mean the horse.
