I'm looking into getting an Albion Selecta, but was hoping to get a few different peoples opinions on them first. Do the jumping blocks give much support? And are they any good for a longer-legged rider?

I'd appreciate any comments...good or bad!

Thanks

I've had one for over 10 years and found it a great saddle for the eventer on a budget! It suited me better than the Albion GP at the time. I now only use it for jumping and hacking and find it fine. My legs don't quite go right up the thigh block on the front of the flap so there would be plenty of room for a longer legged rider. I have since bought a synthetic dressage saddle as I found this was where I needed more support for my position than the Selecta could give. I guess too, that the advent of good affordable synthetic saddles means that owning two saddles is no longer the expense that the Selecta was designed to avoid.
