My 15.2hh cob is currently 525kg on the weigh tape, he is fed 500g Bailey's LoCal Balancer, 1 cup of micronised linseed, 1 table spoon salt, and some speedibeet to mix
He is turned out on a track system with minimal grazing and comes in for a few hours a day with hay. He is ridden 5/6 days per week for 1.5 - 2 hours mainly in trot with some canter and some walk and sometimes some small jumps.
My EP scores him an 8 on his feet, and he doesn't usually have any problems with them.
He walks over hardcore and stones with no worries but is currently not as forwards on the roads as he is on softer surfaces, so I was wondering if he might need a little bit of help and if it was to do with the wet weather we have had and the influx of fresh shoots of grass.
I was thinking of adding a table spoon of Magnesium and/or Cinnamon to his feed and was hoping to find out what other people thought?
Thanks.
