Opinions on Horse for Sale

I like, might be worth the money if you actually saw it, in photos it looks like it needs to develop a bit more behind (just my opinion) and I would look for a price reduction on that basis..would want a little more detail on the breeding too, in order to consider that in the potential

Not mine - a friends.

Just nosing on what other people thought. Agree photo's are not the best!

Shame coz he's a lovely chap round the yard - haven't seen him ridden yet tho, so can't wait to find out what he's like.

Photos aren't the best, and the horse looks green, but definitely looks like an eventer type. He does have a nice look in his face.

He looks green and as if the rider is having to work hard to get him in a sort of outline, so if she looked relaxed and smiling it would seem as if he was no bother so its worth trying to get her to look happy as if shes having fun not trying too hard !
Also I hate adverts that say 'stunning' because its not a proper horsey expression so I wouldnt rate an advert that had that in it. Sorry if I sound over critical

I wouldnt pay it, the horse hasnt done anything, it may be bred to event BUT it currently hasnt so why pay that amount of money when you can get something that has done lots and has proved itself for about the same price.

My thoughts exactly!!

Because you buy potential ability.
If a horse is for sale having done abit of this and a bit of that and is only 5K then it is unlikely to have out of the ordinary ability otherwise it would be 15k not 5
