Opinions on horse

I think he looks VERY nice

Looks a nice natured horse. Very pretty head and nice straightforward paces.

Doesn't make the greatest shape over a fence though and I would like to know at what height it has been going double clear as the fences are all very small.

But is only young with low mileage and is a reasonable price too.

Thanks alot.
I have asked about the heights he is jumping, I just hope he makes more effort and a nicer shape over bigger jumps.
Also wondering why he hasn't been sold yet but I like him a lot so far.

If you like him then go try him!

Could take someone with a video camera so you can watch his shape over a fence when you get home - I used to be the camera girl for my friend so she could get home and watch their paces when she was looking for a dressage horse

I need to speak to the YM at uni, to see if there is any stables spare first.
If there is then I will definatly be going to look at him armed with a camera.
Would also post it on here so that people can share their opinions, as they won't be biased and may pick up on things I haven't.

umm seems like he's from a nice home and done a bit so thats not too bad...

Might need some work on his jump looking at his fronts and shape(yes i no my new horse isn't very round- to anyone who has seen pics) but then again this is just one picture and the jump isn't really a taxing height for him... and he's young so probably nothing a bit of gridwork couldn't sort.
good luck xxx

Ditto above, nice horse but his front legs are quite dangly over a fence... However you could judge that better in the flesh, not ideal but can usually be improved.

looks ok, nothing special though. Photos are not very good so that doesn't help but he doesn't scream quality to me. Good price though so prob worth a look

Unfortunatly I don't have a huge price range, even he is on the expensive side to me and I am limited to where I can look so I am going to find it very difficult to find something better than him, in my price range and within traveling distance.

He looks quite nice, seems honest looking. He does look very green jumping and obviously his double clears seem to be over only about 2ft, which is a bit strange considering hes already a 6yo. But maybe thats due to the owner. Id say he's overpriced personally! I wouldnt pay more than £2500 for him purey because yes, hes been out but doesn't look to have been challenged at all (ie. courses kept very small etc.). Worth a look though.

Well if he turns out the be the horse for me and his jumping is as poor as it looks hopefully she will accept a lower price (as she said on the ad it is negotiable). As I am looking for something I can jump, but would rather have nicer flat work and have to work on their jump I guess.

Having watched reruns of Olympia last night and seeing Finbar V clearing jumps in his unique style it makes me think that sometimes not having excellent shape over jumps isn't 100% necessary
