Hi, i have a warmblood x tb. He turned 4 years old last sunday (17th june). He's currently standing at 15.3hh, how big do you think he'll make? do you think he'll grow any bigger?
Also how do you think hes doing, average for a 4yo? I backed last september, i just sat on him and walked him around. He was then turned away over winter. He then got bought back into work feb time. (lunging, long reining etc). I then got back on him end of march/begining of april time.
He is now out doing dressage, done a few sj classes, and has evene been xc schooling :-) he has been quite sucessful so far! coming 6th out of 23 in his first ever sj class. Clearing fillers nicely and not being spooky or refusing them.
I have attatched some pictures of him.
Do you think his condition is ok? he has filled out an awful lot since we bought him last july!
thanks

hes lllooooovvveeeellllyyy :) hes only 4 so i should think a bit more height. i bought a 5yo tb mare 4 months ago and shes just turned 6 a month ago. i bought her at 16.1 and now shes almost 16.3 so anything can happen lol

I think he looks lovely, may get some more height out of him, is same breed as mine and pretty much the same age as mines 4 in July..

when i bought last year was 16hh and very gangely legs up to her arm pits measured last week and is a massive 16.3 now with :( i think a parachute might be in order soon.. so you may get some more height out of yours how big were parents??

we havent done any jumping yet as left to mature a bit with been so big but have been very successful at dressage in our limited 3 outings. yours looks to be a very nice jumper and is making a nice shape.

looks like your doing a smashing job i like very much what are your plans?? xx

He is really lovely!

I bought a 4yr old Holsteiner mare at 16"2...VERY gangly.....is now 6 and 17"3!!!!!!

Oddly enough I would NEVER have bought a 17"3 but sounds soppy but I guess we "grew" together if you know what I mean...........

OMG 17.3 thats huge!! I really hope mine dosent get that big lol.. her mum was 15.3 n dad 17.2 so hopeing she might stop now lol..

i think hel make a lovely eventer, sounds like he's very calm and level headed. i hope to do first BE with mine in sepetember just an 80 you got any planned for this year? xx
