Owner of the cob i previously posted about reviwing his advert (that you all helped me so well to amend :)) has asked me to re-advertise with reduced price.

Can you all cast an eye and let me know if....

a) the photos are better (not so over bent)
b) i havent added any wording that makes him sound like a complete nutter (which he isnt!)

thanks guys :D

I think thats a really good advert, and a realistic price. He's a nice type - does he jump? We are looking at things like that for my step son, but won't be until we've sold his 13.2 at the end of the pc shows.

I still don't get why the owner wants to have a section about herself.

What has he done? Jumping, fun rides, local shows etc? Can't remember if the advert said he was good in traffic, to be caught, load and farrier, sorry!

Also its 'too strong' not 'to strong'.

Just reread the advert and see that it says about farrier! He's a nice horse, quite similar to my mare. :)

I took the bit about the owner out but she specifically asked me to put it in when i spoke to her earlier - i think she wants people to know that she isnt selling him because he's a nightmare or lunatic but because he is genuinely too strong for her.

He hasnt done much to be fair, other than being schooled professionally every week he has just been hacked and ridden in the school. Owner bought him as a happy hacker so that's what he's been doing most - nothing exciting unfortunately!

The only pictures I like are the second and the last. The first makes him look like he has only been half groomed, and his mane could be far tidier.
I would drop the "owners" paragraph too, but after all that, he sounds a nice boy, and very reasonably priced!

Yeh I remember your last thread about the owner wanting it in there. Makes no sense to me although does give the impression that if he's too strong for her, then he'll be too strong for a novice.

he had only been half groomed, lol, but that's not up to me, i only take the photos! If he were mine i would have him bathed, hogged and sparking in the sunshine.....

Wish i could drop the owners paragraph but that's what she specifially asked for so i feel i have to leave it in - i promised i would put it in for her.

she has arthritis in her hands so has trouble holding the reins - think that contributes mostly to it a he works really softly into the bit when schooling.

Very nice type. I remember you asking before, appreciate the stumbling is the 61 year old who wants to make advert appearance.

Professionally schooled 5 year old would suffice

It is now a put off for me to read ridden by pregnant/4 year old/granny 61 year old...I dont need to know it.Sounds so naff and sob story! (Sorry just on horse viewing 18+ and am fed up with this). You can tell someone about the reasons its for sale when they phone and if they are a serious buyer offer for them to speak to the 61 year old and they and you can come and tell all about the arthritic hands etc etc. And due to being 61 is no longer physically able to handle horse riding etc on strong young horse.

But this is much better and simple.

But he looks very nice.
