5 year old, Native cross TB mare. < (Breed unknown, Native x TB was said most on a thread on here so just a guess really)

Diet -
Out during day with half a slice off a large square bale and small amount of grass. 8am while 3pm
In at night with half a slice off a large square bale, mineral lick, raspberry likit and a feed of happy hoof with carrots - 2 scoops (not sure what that weighs up to but it is not much) No supplements or special feed.

^ She is in work two days a week (half an hour each ride, flatwork and no jumping) in the winter months due to no time to ride in weekdays. Lunge every so often and will soon be using a pessoa to help build muscle. Also hack out every so often, once every few weeks. She is not clipped.

Routine -
Out at 8am in at 3pm weekdays
Out at 10am in at 3.30pm weekend
Once in has a quick groom and given feed, on a weekend rug changed to stable rug, weekdays TO is kept on.

Also how do you think she looks? Conformation etc. :)

I'm useless at confo etc. but I suspect she has a good bit more growing to do as she looks quite bum high still. I like her myself. :)

Btw, her hooves look fab! :D
She's always been barefoot so must have pretty good hooves, i'm quite suprised how good they are looking lately as it's been nearly 3 months since they were last done, and don't look like they need doing any time soon! :D

Yeah a couple of liverys at the yard have said she's got more growing to do :D Thankyou!

thanks :) hopefully she will grow a little more :D

I love her little snip and kind face.

Love that new first pic.

Also I think her feed and routine is working well. If anything I wouldn't bother with likits - stick with salt licks.
If you do start lunging more that will help build up her front end. I use the pessoa but make sure not to tight and fitted well and only walk and trot for the first few months. Use the long and low settings.

She's a lovely pony, very quiet (most of the time!)

Yes the likit is a one off, going to get the mineral likit next time instead of the flavored ones. Yes i will be using the pessoa with my instructor so will make sure of that, thankyou :)
