Opinions on the Funnell Magentic Rug

I purchased a Funnell magnetic rug, what are your reviews of this rug if you've used it? I purchased it to reduce the stiffness of my ex racer when being ridden, and just to feel good all over! Any comments appreciated

Welcome to the forum I don't have the magnetic rug mine is a lightweight turnout. Whilst it is waterproof and a good fit I'm not impressed with the quality of the fastenings. In 3mths the stitching of the webbing that holds the D rings into the rug has completely ripped off on one front buckle and one leg strap, the other front buckle is halfway ripped off. The horse is not a rug trasher either. Hope yours lasts longer than mine did. I won't be buying another.

Hi and welcome. I have that rug, had it for years in fact. I bought it initially for my gelding who was prone to tying up, put the rug on pre and post exercise. I don't know if it made a major amount of difference, but I did find it relaxed him a bit, which was good. I don't use much now, but I have used it on my mares when they have been stressy (in season), again for the relaxing/calming qualities.

Quality seems ok. But the the rug only goes on for half hour or so and in stable, so not getting much wear and tear. Would recommend.
