opinions on this horse ad please.....

plus youtube vid which says hes for sale was placed on the 14/02/2010 (says so in vid not just desc.) so hes been for sale for a long time and the video was slowed down so you cant tell how the horse actually jumped the round!! Awful advert, wording, pictures and video IMO!

It says "This is a Private Advertiser" on the page in the link.
 
Apart from the fishyness of the ad..

I don't like his front legs, it will be fine over the smaller fences but you start getting to 1.10m plus he will have poles because he is nit neat enough in front. If he doesn;t have poles it meanse he is jumping a lot higher then he needs which in the long run can cause damage. Plus I think he's ugly, but thats just my opinion.

Out of interest I just googled phone number. it came up with only 2 horses for sale so I guess they have seen this post and changed the number ??

Also it now says 'Private advertiser' in top right corner

So now someone who tries to do this won't know., lets hope we all remember this horse in future and the phone number!

Just looked again. Four horses on the first page without clicking any of the "show more" links.
 
I have travelled 3 hours last night and bought him for a friends daughter! The lady selling is so honest about him, a real genuine lady who wants the best home for him. He has very mild stringhalt, hence the price but you would not notice it unless you knew it was there and really looked. He has impeccable breeding and is just FAB! Beautiful to ride, not strong, a real pro jump on him. He will have a good home here with us so watch this space. xx
 
Well done you - I was just about to post that I thought he looked very nice, and worth at least a phone call to query why the price. It is right to be suspicious when buying, but equally there are some genuine sellers and horses out there who are respecting market conditions and pricing accordingly.
