opinions on this horse pls.

I think he looks a nice type, conformation looks good and judging by the pics he has a genuine temperament. price looks about right for age and experience.

Nice horse, definately well worth a look

Looks fab, but as an old cynic I would worry that he is even being advertised if he is 'that good', realy good horses seem to change hands via word of mouth. As he is being sold by a dealer how do they know how saintly he is, they tend to try to turn horses over quite quickly. Also if they are selling for 3500 what did they buy him for? I cant see much profit unless they got him very cheap. Might be worth doing some snooping to ascertain their credentials. That said he looks so lovely its def worth having a look - just take a very experienced pair of eyes with you and have a thorough vetting.

Certainly worth a look. Price sounds about right as he only seems to have done some local stuff. Shame photos don't show him trotting so you can see if his back legs look active.

He basically done bu99er all competatively and is already 10. He's been a pure pleasure horse, hacking and doing low level local stuff to date.

He'd have to be pretty special to justify much more money with no competative record whatsoever. And at ten whilst he is young enough to still do quite a bit he is to old to be sold as a youngster with potential so they are looking for a certain sort of home for him.

Go and have a look and make your own mind up. If it's a genuine allrounder that does a bit of everything but is no superstar then sounds like a decent sort of horse for a fair price.

Personally I would steer well clear of this horse. I enquired about him a few weeks ago as he sounded so good for my partner and I to share. The dealer has a very bad reputation on here and she told us that she got him from "a friend who didn't have time to sell"....and according to various people's reports on here, this friend is likely to be her even worse reputation dealer friend who passes on all her duds for her to sell! When we asked her about the horse's history she was very vague and said she'd get back to us (never did of course) and when we asked for her surname, she mysteriously "lost connection" ie hung up. I will look for the other thread on her if you like.
