Rang up, sounds nice ! Apparently full TB although I ma inclined to say he has a bit of WB looking at his hind??
Anyway, he sounds lovely, looks nice IMO (if a bit chubby

)

I wandered if anything was wrong looking at price bbut he doesn't have any form so that might explain it.

Yay or Nay?

Looks smart. Moves like a little pump horse

But I like. Would like to see it jump a single fence though.... and dont think has the best movement but is correct and just sweet

Think MyLadyTara said she was going to look at this at one point didn't she?

He seems nice

. I prefer mine a bit more forward into a fence but that's just me.

For the money I'd say you'd be hard pushed to find a nicer flying change..

Seriously, I prefer this one to the last one. The only questions I would be asking is at 6 years why hasn't it got some sort of record (there's probably a perfectly logical reason) as it's obviously been well schooled; that is to say if it's schooling over novice courses why not affiliate it and ask double the money themselves? Also why are they selling?

Agree he does potentially look a little stuffy and would like to see him over a single fence rather than a grid. Certainly worth a look.. Tempted to call myself for a project next season! (Don't worry I certainly don't have 6k lying around I'm not using at present!!)

Thanks guys - Agree with possible limit in his jump - as it says he has schooled over BE novice fences (have seen the video of this to prove, and he looks very bold and easy). I also have a video of him jumping a round of SJs at around 1.05 and didn't touch a pole.

I think in the video, the girls reins are very short, if not too short which may affect his jump in the video?

I don't mind him being small, as I ma looking for anything from 15.1 - 16hh

Agree about the stuffyness Mdm

Finances have stopped her from affiliating - although the xc fence looks like a BE fence, YO thought SoE? Sale as owner is not brave enough to event/xc so other poeple have to and she cannot afford him. The first thing I noticed was her reins short and he did not look to be going forward enough for me - different when I am on board, I have the opposite problem

Just seen Sophie's post - she got told a fidderent story about why he was being sold - I only spoke to groom person, who was quite vague so I will speak to owner tomorrow...if Sophie hasn't already bought the beast

Its well schooled, and that is about the only good thing going for it.

Has no ability or power there whatsoever, its not in the least bit athletic. Many untalented horses are able to jump a single fence of 1.10m/1.20m ish but doing a whole course of them is a different matter.

But looks sweet and obedient! Depends on how far you want to go, if you want to go straight out and have fun at PN level and no further, then this would be a good horse for you. But sincerly doubt it could do novice.

Thankyou

I see where you are coming from - I have seena vid of it jumping a course etc and looks alright. Might go with an open mind (if I do go). Still have a couple of others lined up

I like, I think he's cute. I also think that you need to decide what your aims would be for him, if you only want to go to novice level then I think he's fine but he may find it a struggle at Int and above.

But he looks very nice.

We phoned up about it yeah, but we wont be buying him as circumstances have changed *again* And we now have a bit more money than we thought.

He sounds nice, although if you have been told a different story to me then be careful- what did they tell you, out of interest? x

Well it was the groom that I spoke to - she just said it was finances etc - that is why they hadnt evented him so that is what she thought that the reason for sale was

I think it would be to do a novice, if not good enough, sell and get something to do Juniors/YR on.

She also has other horses for sale - friend went to see another one so ..... make sure you're happy the stories add up. Not saying they don't, horse friend saw was nice dressage horse (also did good flying changes think it's her speciality!) just would make me cautious. I also think you could get something with more ability for your money as you're happy to have something to bring on
