Opinions on this saddle?

I wouldn't touch it personally, simply because you have no idea what's inside it, or what it's made of. There are some real horrors out there and you just can't tell what it will be like until you get it home. For example, you can't tell whether what the stirrup bars are attached to, they might pull across the horse's back as you put your weight into them etc. I don't know a lot about treeless saddles, but I think if it seems too good to be true, it's like it is :( (Of course it may just be a good bargain, but without having it checked out you can't be sure) :)

I wouldn't buy one personally.
If you click on the seller name it tells you that they are located in India.
I remember reading a really informative thread on here recently regarding saddles from India, it was a real eye opener.

Wouldn't touch it tbh, you hear of these things coming from god knows where and made from scraps, have allsorts sewn and stuffed into them such as wall insulation, food packets and needles etc. Theyre usually hard as a rock as well and hurt the horse. As this is unbranded and cheap I'd say avoid, sorry :(

Thought I might of gotten lucky ! Never realised it was from india, that puts me off a lot :/ 2 poor sods have already Bought it. Thanks for the help! Does anyone know of anything similar a bit better quality ?

Feedback is all very good with one exception about the quality of leather, but as I am not investing in a proper saddle the leather doesn't really bother me. But would hate the thought of horrible stuffing in the saddle :s

They put item located in Bristol to give the impression that its an English made saddle.
Shysmum started the thread titled Cheap saddles/bridles on Ebay (sorry useless at linking threads to posts).

Their idea of quality is not my idea of quality!
Machined on skirts, no gussets in panels, thin machined girth straps, typical imported saddle I'd afraid. Cheap and cheerful but not very safe by looking at the girth straps!
Oz :)

You're not dim, you did your research before buying it:)
Thank goodness for informed people like Unicornleather on here.

You've probably already thought of this, but it's worth getting a saddle fitter (master) out. They usually have saddles to suit every budget, and hopefully you will get one that fits well at the right price.

Just incase anyone has forgotten / lost the link -

This is a very interesting thing another HHO thread showed me.

Wouldnt it be nice if horses were cheap! - I was made redundant last month, so far chrio, saddle fitter, lesson, new boots and new breastplate all needed!!!

If anyone does spot a nice second hand tree M/W dressage saddle give me a shout! :)
