I am thinking about sending one of my boys away to learn his changes. I have started them with him but because I have never taught them before I am doubting myself when we are having a few issues.

My regular trainer is based 2 hours away otherwise I would have tried to organise someone to come to me every day for a week so we could work through it together. However this is not possible.

So, I was wondering if any of you guys on here had any ideas of or experience of good trainers who will teach the changes sympathetically to the horse (ie not just yanking him off balance).

I am based in Shropshire and don't really want to travel further than 2 hourse to take him somewhere.

All ideas welcome and also ideas on price per week for your suggestions please!!

Andrew Gould - hes fantastic. I train with him and he taught my horse changes. In fact my horse is going back there for a week in march to further his 'changes'

if you email the contact address on there Polly (Andrew's wife) will get back to you normally on the same day.

Not sure how long it would take you to get there, they are just down the road from Hickstead.

Ok im crap at geography so these may be far to far away! but if you want training then :
caroline moore (www.caroline-moore.com/www.valeviewequestrian.co.uk) she is fantastic (on the workd class coaching squad)and although she is and event coach she is also a BD accredited trainer and taught my hoprse how to change. she is based in Leicstershire.

Alison Clark- fantastic f/w, produces horses from unbroken to grand prix so flying changes are nothing to her...based in notts (pm me if you want to find out how to contact her) she will take in horses for training or teach you to do it...what ever you prefer...
