It's difficult to tell because I don't know anything about donkeys, and the pony is very hairy - could be thin underneath all that hair!!

It's hard to tell from that photo...a side on photo would be a lot easier to judge from.

Oooo...you know I save donks - (to give to shilasdair for sacrifices to the weather gods!!) so could you ship me yours for christmas. They are both lovely.
Pony looks OK donk maybe slightly fat, but as others have said, somewhat difficult to tell from those pics.
