I do like it, not quite sure the eyes are just right for me, but since I have the artistic ability of a squashed hedgehog then I am in awe of anyone who can produce a pic like yours

Don't talk like that!! Alot of people just view this forum and don't comment! The drawing is very good, even my stick people are wonky!! I didn't see your original model but I could tell the drawing was of a viszla! (one of my favourite breeds!) Well done!

thankies guys. I havn't sketched anything for years and this is my first ever attempt at a dog. I was quite pleased, but I'm aware theres plenty of room for improvement. I'm glad u could tell it was a vizz anyway!

I could definitely tell it is a Vizla cos I wanted to gently pull its ears

Vizlas have such pull-able ears

I think it maybe looks slightly odd around the nose, as the far eye is visable yet the closet nostril is right up to far side of the nose. That may not make any sense and is really picky, sorry

But I like it!!

I see what u mean hen, thinking mayb iv got the depth of her forehead slightly wrong shading wise though, rather than the nose?

Having seen the original now, I think you're right.
Also maybe the collar area looks a bit odd.

The fact that I am being picky shows how good it is, there are no glaring things wrong, and it definately looks like the pic!

Was going to skip over this and not comment until I read further down and felt thoroughly told off so................It's good, 100 times better than I could do. I once tried to draw my cat sitting on the window sill and it looked like he'd been squashed by a car and restuffed then drawn

I think the the outstanding drawings are only better than the really good ones because they capture the character of the dog too and maybe that's a tiny bit missing. Hope that doesn't offend, it's still REALLY good

I think you'll find that most people are not commenting 'cos they're envious!!! Really good picture - I seriously wish I could draw like that...
