Ok, I ride and am planning to show in M & M ridden classes a dark bay New Forest. My jacket is a brown tweed, Hat will be brown velvet, gloves brown leather, and all tack is Havana.
I need new boots and being a shorty always have trouble with long boots being too long. Have settled on a make of front laced long boots that seem to fit, and they also come in a lovely dark brown.
I think they would look rather smart, but knowing how conservative the showing world is, would I be wrong to go for these and should I stay with boring black. A fairly considerable investment is looming and dont want to find ive got it wrong, in spite of being someone who likes to buck the trend in most things, maybe this is one area where I need to be boringly conventional.
So opinions please, I dont want to be noticed as the one in brown boots for the wrong reasons, lol
