I bought a no fill lightweight turnout of theirs last year. Cheap and poor quality. Didnt fit my horse well, leaked badly and I gave up and bought a Mark Todd one after about 3 months. Not sure what their heavier weight ones are like though.

I have stopped using them because of them using KP. I have had rugs which were ok but the two heavyweights I bought last year had poor quality surcingle hooks and they sheared quickly when the horses rolled.

sorry, but WHY?? If weatherbeeta (or your preferred rug manufacturer) used KP would you stop buying them too?

I've had countless rugs of theirs and while fair enough they don't last as long as a more expensive brand in many other ways they are fantastic. I much prefer to have two of there's to one Weatherbeeta so I can switch them round when they are wet, have more colour variety

etc.

I also have their own brand breeches, boots, headcollars, tack and it is all of very good quality for the price I have paid plus there sales are amazing on both their own brand and top brand stuff

If I have issues with DH it isn't with the quality of their rugs (I don't buy them) or even their tasteless foray into the whole Katie Price range - I simply resent the fact that a relatively small, good quality, company has got so big that they no longer offer any kind of good service or range of products - they might as well be calling themselves Robinsons now.

And don't get me started on the effect their takeover has had on local saddleries who previously offered expertise, saddlery repairs, a vast range of new and second hand saddles - who now mostly stock tat in pink and Wintec

I would stop using any company that sought to market a woman who has made her fortune by having excessive, sexually provocative plastic surgery and living her life in full public view to young girls - which is undoubtedly the target market for her products. I would hate my daughter to think that she was someone to try and emulate and I think it was a poor decision on Derby Houses part to take her on board. I am not against her - just against the way she is being offered as a role model to an easily influenced age of girl. What she does is up to her. There are many excellent role models within the equine industry without having to go to the 'glamour' (I don't think it's glamorous) market for them. Yes I do stop using any company I don't think is ethical as that is the only way to make my point felt by them.

I have used the field boots (the sportabac copies) and they were ok - probably lasted marginally longer than the sportabac versions and the velcro was a bit grippier. They were a lot cheaper though.

I have a couple of their turnouts but they are about 3-4 yrs old. I would say that they are better than the Robinson's requisite range but I wouldnt buy either brand voluntarily, and especially not the new stuff.

I bought a HW combo rug and two full neck under rugs. Other than rubbing his shoulders pretty badly they have been pretty ok rugs, the under rug was used from october until spring every night and sometimes under his TO. I do like the under rug but doesn't fit him brilliantly so selling the other one I bought. His TO was only used occasionally but again had no problems other than with his shoulders.
I haven't owned them long enough for them to fall apart so don't know how long they last compared to expensive rugs.
