He he my sister's horsey is by him. Apparently it's spelt CarnAval Drum which may help with a google search!! Anyway, he's a lovely chestnut sjing stallion, thin he's classed as a britishe warmblood as he has some tb blood in him too. He's Selle Francaisx TB, AES registered
if you do a search we've had conversations about him before on here. If you look at my webshots and 'horses of the past', he was a Carnavel Drum offspring.
He's not dead!! I was stroking him only a few weeks ago. He is a fairly mature gentleman, I think he must be about 20 years, but is still adorable. My SJ mare is by him and my katepearsons youngster is also by him. He does seem to throw horses with a good jump, but some have also been successful in dressage.
He's not dead!!! He's at the yard up the road from me, I see him in his stable every day!!
You'll hear all the usual stuff about he throws 'quirky' offspring, but ignore it, he doesn't. He throws 'warmblood' offspring, which yes, can be more 'quirky' by nature, this is because they're competition horses, treat them normally, they behave normally.
ive spelt in with an I -coz that is how it was spelt by my friend and i tried an A on the search as well but still nothing except all of his offspring!
Thats what I dont get about warmbloods- they call him dutch warmblood but his sire was selle francais and his dam was part gelderlander, part tb??
I dont understand!!
Agree he's gorgeous though
i work for pembershill stud farm where carnaval drum is kept. he is very much alive and still covering mares this year (2007) he is a dutch warmblood and still very stunning to look at.
