Hi there. I was just wondering if anyone had any experience of using an "Orbitless Bridle". I am considering one for my fairly strong 16.2hh warmblood - I've been riding him in an english hackamore and someone has suggested the Orbitless as it has more adjustments - any thoughts/advice would be much appreciated! :)

Not personally. It's quite new on the market but it is a rip off of the LG or Happy Wheel bridle.

The LG bridle became impossible to get in the UK as the maker seems to have given up, so Orbit was created to fill the gap in the market.

If you do some sniffing around the internet on the LG or Happy wheel or Flower bridles - you may get more info?

Hi there just saw your post. I've been riding my anglo - arab in an orbitless bridle for about a year now as she wouldn't take the bit after being a rescue. She too could be quite strong headed but brakes for me using the orbitless seemed better than using a bit. She's calmed down so much with me using it as before I was using a Dr cooks side pull bitless bridle. We've now competed in a number of hunter trails and show jumping comps with pleasing results. Every horse is different though so this has been my experience. I have it on the lightest side pull setting as it keeps her more sensitive to my aids. The only thing is steering at first isn't as sensitive as when using the bit as the pain element isn't there but after some training it's come on amazingly and now we ride very lightly.
