Just thought I'd share... I have long coveted these rings and have decided to go for it, I've looked and looked for something to commission as a momento to ebony and couldn't find anything that I liked anywhere near as much, I'm going to have it made with predominantly ebony s hair, but with some of bens too. Really excited to see the finished product. :D

That's really lovely.

I wish I had kept some hair from my Friesian (she had enough of it in her mane and tail) but was in so much shock I just buried her and only thought about it about a month later.

I was really lucky, once ebony had gone my friends came and literally scooped me up and supported me so I could walk back to where Ben was and sit down... I was babbling something about hair, but they were already on the case, although I haven't been able to look at it yet, it's still in the same plastic bag, my mate left the yard and drove straight over to my home to give my mum the bag and a huge hug, it's in the cupboard, I've seen the bag, but I can't bear to look at it. I also have one of her false plaits from years ago... That's majorly special to me. I think this ring is lovely, and its proper silver, some of their rings are soooo expensive and I just couldn't even consider affording one, but they have bought these out on special... I'm so glad! It's about £190 and they are made in America I think. :)

Yes, it is, it's also to me a 'proper' bot of jewellery, not hair made to look like jewellery but that actually looks like like it plays a proper part in it... Like its meant to be there if you get what I mean?

Did you know aunts g is poorly?:(
 
Nah, the prices vary... Some are waaaay out of my price range, but these are a special offer orders must be placed before jan 12th but deposit and hair can follow after the initial booking and balance due on completion. Oh, so they do, thanks for that:). I think I prefer the weave used by the other company, it looks a lot tighter and smaller... I think it means they can get more 'design' and pattern into the ring, but also less likely to catch, but I will have a closer look at this one, I may get one made as a spare in just ebony s hair by them.
